Connect your Drive
One person at your company does this once.
Nothing is shared with us. You sign in to your own Google account, ReCeipt creates a folder called ReCeipt Inbox inside your Drive, and your receipts land there. The folder is yours, the files in it are yours, and you can move it, rename it or share it with whoever does the books.
You need a Google Workspace address at your company — a personal Gmail cannot be used, because the work address is what proves the company is yours to connect.
Why the prefix matters
It becomes part of every receipt's file name. Get it wrong and receipts will upload perfectly and file nowhere, which is the kind of fault nobody notices until someone is reconciling the bank account weeks later. You can change it by coming back here and connecting again.
What ReCeipt is allowed to do
It asks for one Drive permission, drive.file, which is the
narrowest Google offers: it reaches only files the app itself
created. Your other documents are invisible to it — not by our promise,
but because Google will not serve them.
It cannot delete or move anything, ever.
Stopping it
Remove ReCeipt at myaccount.google.com/permissions, in your own Google settings, without asking anybody. Your receipts stay where they are.
